The Slant Harp blues harmonica method developed to take advantage of single "draw notes" of a diatonic harmonica. Also known as third position, the Slant Harp key equals the Flat 7 (VIIb) of the accompanying guitar key.
 
The example below uses a C Harmonica to play in the Key of D.
